A Place Where Music Has Always Been Personal.
From the beginning, V.I.P. Records has been about more than selling records. It has been a place where people could discover music, talk music, meet artists, share ideas and become part of something bigger than themselves.
I opened V.I.P. because I believed music could bring people together. Over the years, that little record store became part of the story of Long Beach and the story of West Coast music.
Today, the mission is still simple: keep the music moving, keep the culture alive, and keep the doors open for the next generation.

The V.I.P. Family Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through music education and providing opportunities for artistic expression.
Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for aspiring young artists, particularly those from underserved communities, by connecting them with music education, mentorship, creative resources and opportunities to explore their artistic potential.
Through music, culture and education, the Foundation works to preserve the legacy of V.I.P. Records while creating pathways for the next generation.
